Residential Bath Remodeling

Background

Bathroom remodeling for residential client.

The Challenge

To create a new more open look by removing the door between the vanity and shower area, removing the dated wallpaper and tight white 4×4 tile on the counter top and tub area. Also because of age there was a significant amount of mold which had accumulated around the tub and fixtures, upon further exploration there was no active mold or spores behind wall board.

Our Solution

Remove all wallpaper, tile, countertop, floor tile and fixtures and replace them.

Project Details

We removed all wallpaper, tile, countertop, floor tile and fixtures and replaced them with a new shower mixer 1 foot x 2 foot porcelain tile in shower area, 1 foot x 1 foot non-glazed porcelain tile on floor , counter, with accent brick band, texture walls to match existing, replace all F stops and fixtures, including tub and tub enclosure, and replace with new, paint all surfaces with Simi-gloss enamel, install new base boards and trim. Turnaround time was three weeks start to finish. Another completely satisfied McKowski’s customer.
