The Challenge
The Market had a roll up door installed in place of their old double warehouse doors.
They tasked McKowski’s with a solution to their forklift access problem and securing their shopping carts.
Our Solution
McKowski’s removed the stem wall blocking forward access to the warehouse, cut the concrete and asphalt to reduce the slope and poured new concrete to create a forklift friendly ramp.
The old security gate was no longer in use so the market asked if we could make a smaller gate and mount it where the carts are stored at night.
McKowski’s set two post and fabricated a locking gate, utilizing the metal from the old gate, and saving the market the material costs of purchasing all new steel to build a gate.
The ramp and gate worked perfect! The customer was very happy with the savings, and the final product.
