Mid Rise Deck Area Repair in San Diego
The Problem
A Mid-Rise in San Diego had cracking in several areas of their sun deck area. The floor was soft near one of the drains. McKowski’s was contracted to repair the soft spot and repair any cracks in the deck floor.
The Solution
McKowski’s opened the floor around the soft spot to find there was structural damage beneath the subfloor due to long term water intrusion. The damaged wood supports, and subfloor were replaced, and the waterproof deck system was repaired. The cracks in the floor at all areas of egress were repaired, and the entire sun deck and BBQ area floors received two coats of the deck system topcoat.
The Result
The entire project only took five working days, so it was ready for use by the weekend.
The residents are now enjoying the sunny weather on their beautiful sundeck.
